01 — about
I graduated from JG International School, Ahmedabad in April 2024, completing the Cambridge program — IGCSE through AS & A Levels — with a heavy lean into Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science. Since October 2024 I've been at Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University, pursuing a four-year B.Tech with an AI Speciality. My teachers describe a strong sense of logic and an instinct for working complex problems independently; I'd describe it as not being able to leave a system alone until I understand its internals.
Alongside my coursework, I went past tutorials into the real tooling of modern data platforms: how open-source licenses actually constrain software, how MongoDB designs schemas and keeps clusters reliable, how Apache Iceberg and Polaris turn object storage into a lakehouse, how Redis serves AI workloads at memory speed — and how generative AI gets attacked, because defending systems means thinking like the person breaking them.
Everything on this page is verifiable on my Credly profile.

JG International · CambridgeC++ for Beginners at Newton School of Technology (Headstart) — memory, types, and control flow before any abstraction. The habit of learning bottom-up starts here.
Newton School · C++Four Linux Foundation courses in one sprint — licensing basics (LFC191), compliance management (LFC193), contributing in finance with FINOS (LFD137), and cybersecurity essentials (LFC108). Understanding the legal and security substrate everything else runs on.
Linux Foundation · ×4Started a four-year B.Tech with AI Speciality at Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University — turning a self-taught direction into a formal engineering degree.
Swarrnim · B.Tech AIEight MongoDB skill badges, end to end: relational → document model, CRUD, aggregation, indexing design, schema patterns & anti-patterns, cluster reliability — then vector search and RAG on top.
MongoDB · ×8IBM SkillsBuild AI foundations, then Codecademy's Prompt Engineering: Generative AI for System Hacking at 100% completion. Building with AI and red-teaming it in the same month.
IBM + CodecademyRedis fundamentals, then Redis for AI — semantic caching, vector similarity, and why the fastest database in an AI stack is the one that never touches disk.
Redis · ×2Three Dremio University certificates: hands-on Apache Iceberg with Spark and Dremio, Apache Polaris catalogs, and Iceberg for analytics & ML — the table format layer where modern data platforms converge.
Dremio · ×3Working through the B.Tech-AI program at Swarrnim and pointing all of this at one target: engineering the data & AI infrastructure layer — and keeping it secure.

Member of the Organising Committee for the 4th edition of the JG MUN Conference (Aug 26–27, 2023) — logistics, coordination, and keeping a two-day conference of delegates running on schedule.
Runner-up in the Inter-House One-Act Play Competition 2022–23 — proof that stage presence and engineering aren't mutually exclusive.
