HARDIL MODI

I go deep, not wide — open-source licensing, document databases, open lakehouses, in-memory systems, and AI that I also know how to break. B.Tech (AI Speciality) undergrad. 20 credentials earned in public.

01 — about

Built in Ahmedabad,
aimed at infrastructure.

I graduated from JG International School, Ahmedabad in April 2024, completing the Cambridge program — IGCSE through AS & A Levels — with a heavy lean into Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science. Since October 2024 I've been at Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University, pursuing a four-year B.Tech with an AI Speciality. My teachers describe a strong sense of logic and an instinct for working complex problems independently; I'd describe it as not being able to leave a system alone until I understand its internals.

Alongside my coursework, I went past tutorials into the real tooling of modern data platforms: how open-source licenses actually constrain software, how MongoDB designs schemas and keeps clusters reliable, how Apache Iceberg and Polaris turn object storage into a lakehouse, how Redis serves AI workloads at memory speed — and how generative AI gets attacked, because defending systems means thinking like the person breaking them.

Everything on this page is verifiable on my Credly profile.
